I have looked at and I'm happy with some of the comments given on my photos. I feel the photos could of been better quality and I should improve that by trying to keep the camera focused.

Photoshoot Evaluation

I think from doing this project I have learned how to keep a camera in focus, how to use continuous shooting mode on the camera itself.  I also feel I have improved my framing when using a DSLR camera and got a little experience of what it involves in being a fashion photographer and the elemets you have to think about.

I feel if I had more I would of took more of a variety of photos such as Urban photography, Which is photos took outside. Professional photos took in a photography studio where elemets like the lighting can be controlled. I would also use a variety of seasoned outfits on the models.  Im happy with the project and the photos overall.

I feel these are the best ones because out of all of them these have the best focus, lighting, composition and framing.

These are the photos I took for my arts award project and the photos that are rounded in red are the best out of all of them. I think the ones that a highlighted are the best because each one has good focus, lighting, and the models all look professional.

Fashion Poster

I am in the middle of producing a poster advertising for students to volunteer to be model to help me with my fashion photography for my arts awards project.

 

This is the Fashion shoot poster finally finished and i will upload the photos from the actual shoot when i get the chance. I will put all the photos that that i have taken followed by what photos i think are the best ones.

Photoshoot-Planning

I'm planning to do a photo shoot for my arts award project and this is a listed stages of planning. 

1. Hardware; DSLR Camera 
2. Models; Kaddy D,allo, Tony Johnson, Kane Saville and Chloe BroomField.
3. Location; Middlesbrough College, Temenos.
4. Software; Photoshop, Safari and Internet.                                                      

Part 1- Planning.  I need to finish all stages of the planning.

Part 2- Produce a poster to advertise for models.

Part 3- Produce a time to book the models.

Part 4- Get models and book a time when they're available. 

Part 5-Get a time and place that everybody involved is available.

Part 6- Book the equipment.

Part 8- Do the photo shoot.

Part 9- Create a contact sheet and pick the best ones.

Part 10- Upload the best ones and the contacts sheets on to my blog.

Part 11- Upload them on to padlet for feedback off my peers.

Part 12- write up an evaluation on the project.

Fashion Photography

I would like to look and explore more in to Fashion Photography, the models and the photographers to learn how they do it and gain experience of my own.   www.vogue.co.uk <-- example of professional photographers are ones that work for vogue magazine.
Cosmopolitan is also another good example of fashion photographers based in magazines.  http://www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/fashion/

They aren't just magazines they photograph, they also do fashion shows/shoots, they have models in professional photography studios.  They work for fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Stella Mccartney, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel and Alexander Mcqueen. 

Edited Film

I got a short film to edit. I cut off some of the film and selected certain scenes out of the film to shorten the film completely.
I selected the parts were he  was waiting for the bus, the bus arrived, the female got off the bus, he touched her cheek and then he kissed her.  I called it "The Horrible Kiss.        

I liked editing the film and Im sure I will do it again

Exploring Photography

I took pictures using marco mode on a camera and I tried to take a close up picture of the image.  I also created an account and uploaded my images on to Photobucket.
